A growth mindset: above all else, we're looking for people who are dependable, ambitious and want to grow with Reliance Must be registered apprentice with the Ontario College of Trades (309A) 3+ years in electrical would be ideal - Apprentice experience Must have a driver's license with a clean driver's abstract Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position Excellent verbal and communication skills Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Outstanding customer service skills Experience in Refrigeration, HVAC, Plumbing, and Mechanics an asset What do you bring?

The qualifications required for this position should be considered before any application is submitted. Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers. Responsible for servicing, installing, and replacing electrical water heaters. Represent Reliance in a professional, courteous, and customer service-oriented manner on each and every call.

Assist in the diagnosis and repair of electrical problems in domestic electrical systems, including but not limited to fault-finding, panel changes, generator installation, knob and tube removal, home rewiring, etc. Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines. Perform and assist the electrician in diagnostics, repair, maintenance, service, and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.

Perform general and specific equipment inspections. Educate customers on electrical work in homes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations. Explain the value of Reliance products, services, and programs on every call.
