Job Description
20 hourly Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Confined spaces. Work setting: Construction. Staff accommodation provided. Room and board provided. Tasks: Install electrical controls and panel boxes. Professionalism in customer service. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations. Instruct apprentices.
Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems. Supervise other workers. Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electrician Trade Certification. Construction Electrician Red Seal Certificate. Field work location experience: British Columbia. Alberta. Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional electrical devices.
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Valid driver's licence. Travel expenses paid by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Tools.
