Vacation Pay: 10% of base rate, consisting of 6% Vacation Pay and 4% Statutory Pay. Retirement Savings Plan (RSP): 7% of base hourly rate, calculated on base rate. Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our dynamic team. Flexibility to work out of town on project opportunities is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations. They will be responsible for performing a wide range of electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

The Journeyperson Electrician will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of projects while upholding our commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in accordance with local codes and regulations. * Collaborate with project managers and team members to plan and execute electrical projects effectively. * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, ensuring timely resolution.

* Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine wiring layouts. * Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs. * Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for self and team members. * Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentice electricians as needed. * Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in electrical technology.

* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked. * Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to specifications and on time.

Qualifications

* Valid Journeyperson Electrician license/certification. * Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician in industrial settings. * In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and codes. * Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Commitment to safety protocols and practices. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
