Job Description

Our work environment includes: * Growth opportunities * Relaxed atmosphere * On-the-job training * Flexible working hours * Safe work environment Responsibilities: * Supervise and mentor apprentices * Site Housekeeping * Work reports and associated paperwork * Work safely and in accordance with the Montgomery Power Management Inc.

Health and Safety Manual * Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine layout of electrical installation * Test and troubleshoot electrical equipment * Install, test, and troubleshoot motors, drives, PLCs and electrical controls * Determines layout and installs appropriate cable tray and conduit * Size electrical circuits according to the CEC and client's requirements * Install appropriate grounding systems as required Requirements: * Valid Alberta or Red Seal Journeyman Electrical ticket * Industrial or heavy commercial electrical experience * Able to read and interpret drawings and P&ID's * Must be able to work safely in fast-paced, high-stress environments * Must be capable of taking direction and working unsupervised * Experience with high and medium voltage installation an asset * Training and experience in fiber termination an asset * Physically fit--capable of lifting up to 50lbs * Valid First Aid, AWP, WHMIS, CSTS and Working at Heights preferred * Must have a valid driver's license We are looking for a Journeyperson Electrician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues. Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components.
